Dr. Raphael Yeung, D.D.S.

Dr. Raphael Yeung established his Alhambra family dental clinic in 1978. Originally from Hong Kong, he completed all of his formal education in London, England. He graduated from Queens’ College with a degree in physiology and chemistry in 1972. In 1976, he went on to get his Doctor of Dental Surgery from King’s Medical College. Dr. Yeung immigrated with his family from London to Los Angeles in 1977, where he was offered a teaching position at the UCLA School of Dentistry - Department of Radiology. There, he would continue to impart all of his experience and knowledge on all the new students who came through the Dental School Program for the next 40 years. Taking his love of teaching into his dental practice, Dr. Yeung always tries to teach his patients to take better care of their oral health. Dr. Yeung has always been a firm believer in educating his patients about how to maintain their teeth properly in order to improve their overall health. Prevention is the best medicine!

Dr. Yeung continues to enjoy coming into the office to see all of his patients, many of whom have been with the practice since he started over 40 years ago. In his free time, Dr. Yeung loves playing many rounds of golf and keeping his mahjong skills sharp.
